I am an independent adult in a wheelchair who does disability advocacy. I am looking for a part-time assistant to come to my home. I will need you to provide transportation to various meetings I attend -- sometimes they are outside of Carrboro, around North Carolina. You need to be local to the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area.
Assistance at my home includes: typing and computer work, light housework, and light food prep (although I don't expect you to know how to cook!). My assistant must have a working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and iPad applications because I use these programs to prepare for the conferences I attend.
The job is part time. I am flexible in working out a schedule with you.
