Emerge Pediatric Therapy Emerge Pediatric Therapy Carrboro, NC Carrboro, NC Full-time Full-time $16 - $17 an hour $16 - $17 an hour Emerge Pediatric Therapy is looking for a full time Therapy Aide for our Carrboro clinic.
The Therapy Aide position primarily supports the therapy team, and clinic as a whole, so that the therapists can spend their time face to face with clients.
This role requires organization, working in a fast-paced environment, and a love of working around children.
This role would entail the closing shifts M-F (ending around 6:
15pm M-Th), and is perfect for a young professional looking to work in an environment with Occupational, Speech, and Physical therapists! Essential Functions/
Responsibilities:
Maintaining multiple clinic organization systems:
therapy treatment rooms, large gymnasium, kitchen space, supply/toy closets Daily dishwashing and sanitization Resetting therapy rooms after sessions Put away toys and equipment Food prep for feeding therapy Material preparation for clinic needs (i.
e.
print, laminate) Laundry as needed Cross training on the front desk procedures to assist as needed for lunch coverage/End of day needs Sanitize soiled toys and surfaces Keep the waiting room in good condition Assist in therapy sessions as needed Other situational tasks may arise depending on client needs Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes Positive outlook on life Flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to changes Organized with strong attention to detail Exhibits responsibility and professionalism Good communication skills Desire to learn and advance skill set Effective and efficient problem solver Excellent attendance record and punctuality Enjoys the pediatric population and their families Provides others with timely and organized information; provide clear directions, shares responsibility and accountability; includes and consults with appropriate individuals as needed.
Provides accurate results that are thought-out, complete; exhibits high standard for excellence, attention to detail; relays information that is sufficiently detailed and provides desired effect from customer.
Ability to use logical methods to solve problems while producing effective solutions; probes all appropriate resources for solutions; takes initiative to identify and improve systems and processes.
